A stroke of luck

 This was my outfit on Sunday to kid birthday party followed by a work party at my friend's house...
Both items are from the clothing line I sell kikaPaprika.

 The twill pants have been somewhat of a challenge for me to style as they are a very classic cut. But by cuffing the pants harem style I made them work for me. And love the no zipper, no button elastic waist pants. so comfy.

 This top is one of my favorites from the new line. So comfy and flattering and has this effortless look about it. The fabric is silky soft and takes on all the colors in their deepest shade like this perfect hue of the trendy oxblood color.

The Luky charm feather necklace goes so perfectly with this color combination...

SUNDAY:
Had a fun b-day party at my best friend's house for her youngest son. Then gave the kids to my hubby and went to my work party.

And I know how much you missed seeing fun photos of my kids! :)

Lacing it up

Once again I am behind in posts. This happens whenever we have a crazy busy weekends where I don't even log on at night and therefore no photo uploads or posting...
This was my outfit Saturday night to go out for the birthday celebrations of my Hubby and Sister!

The inspiration was from a Chanel Ad in June 2012 issue of Elle Magazine:

I have been wanting to wear these fab all lace pants my mom loaned to me. And this was perfect. 

I am loving this bold leather lizard skin cuff from Stella and Dot! When you have such a quality statement piece I decided to wear it solo! As much as I love Forever 21 for the ability to satisfy and fashion lusts in an affordable way there is something to be said about wearing high quality stuff...

So pretty much every man in my family did not get that these pants were lined with a nude colored lining. They kept asking if I was naked underneath!!??

I need to get my bangs trimmed!

SATURDAY:
The day was crazy starting with my infusion appointment, followed by picking up cupcakes and going to my son's last soccer game then having his trophy and pizza party.
We then went to our friends' house for an impromptu playdate and probably stayed longer than we should cause it was a mad rush coming home and showering the whole family and getting dressed to make it to downtown for a super early 5:15 PM dinner reservation!
The dinner was with the whole family, kids included. Then My mom and step-dad took the kids to their house to spend the night and we stayed out with my sister and brother in law and their friends to go out...

Found these tights at H&M. They actually do not have a kids dept at the store we went to but someone must have returned them. They have cats on the toes!
The shoes by the way are Michael Kors (bought from Marshall's!)

When you have kids you can never blow your own candles or open your own gifts!

We actually had to light them up twice cause my daughter started crying that she didn't get to blow them in the first try!

The group was pushing my poor brother in law who does not drink to do shots! Amazingly after 3 shots of whiskey he woke up just fine! Isn't nice to be young?

I can't say we blended in with the 20 sth year olds but we hung in there!

Who is Wearing Kika? - Meet Ruby

As you might have read this is a new feature on my blog where every Monday I post a different model styled in the wonderful comfortable and stylish clothing line I sell: kikaPaprika!

Meet Ruby!

Ruby is a wife, mother, business woman and friend. She keeps busy volunteering for her daughter 8 and son's 10 classrooms and driving them to dance, fencing and piano.  She is passionate about a healthy and clean lifestyle.  She has been an Independent Consultant and Area Manager with Arbonne for over 6 years, a Swiss anti-aging and nutrition company.  

I met her through a vendor event we did together and got to know more about Arbonne and with their amazing products did that 30 day detox plan and still love and use the shakes, teas and the energy drinks from them. 

Ruby just loves everything about kikaPaprika.

 This color and style was just perfect for Ruby. She looked so comfortable and yet stylish and perfectly layered.  

The statement 'Joey' jacket's fitted style creates a very slimming look while the cotton panels around the waist and under the arms makes it an amazingly comfortable jacket to live in. 

The necklace is one of those colors that works with bordeaux or brown. The tank she has can be also worn round neck. Ruby liked the v-neck look.
