Last night's outfit to go to dinner at my husband's co-worker's house:
This was inspired by the blog "All the Shiny Things" but she moved her blog to 'Pink Bows & Pearls':
I have always liked the combination of turquoise and red and this had pop of animal print….
My husband kept asking 'what is up with the portfolio in your hand'? Men just don't get fashion. :)
I started laughing at this comment….
Blouse, Pants, Necklace, bracelet - Forever 21
Clutch - Asos
Heels - Boden U.S.A.
Ring - C Wonder
SATURDAY:
My husband and an incredible day with the kids. I kicked them all out of the house so I could pack in peace. They started with 9 to 10 AM tennis classes, followed by laster tag, lunch then rock climbing!
Of course he doesn't take many photos but here are couple he did snap while holding the kids' ropes with one hand….
While they were having 'fun day with Daddy' I was in complete packing mode and getting the house ready doing laundry and cleaning up. I again restrained myself as I packed kids clothes not going overboard bringing too much stuff and keeping the clothes light for the hot climate. It still all adds up somehow though. Been moving around stuff a lot playing chess with the suitcases making sure they are all under the weight limit…
Late afternoon I switched from packing to paying bills and calling credit card companies to let them know I am traveling and cell phone company to adjust my phone etc…
My sister and brother in law came over to spend time with the kids and babysit while we went out to dinner at my husband's old co worker's house…
They live super close to us so that was nice and it was kind of a nice break to get out of sweats and have wine and nice dinner after an all day of packing. I was of course by far the dressiest person as the host was wearing a black t-shirt dress and barefoot and everyone else was pretty casual but that is San Diego culture for you. I don't care.
The food was amazing. They have no kids (2 big dogs and 2 cats) and we haven't been to a gourmet dinner party like that for a long time. Very nice...
Very nice outfit. I am going to adapt this outfit for me ;)
