No one to tell us no or where to go

Tuesday's outfit to taking the kids to skateboard park....

The inspiration:

Top, necklace - Forever 21
Pants - some small shop by the beach
Sandals - Boutique 9

TUESDAY:
San Diego being San Diego (the best city to raise children) has apparently an abundant number of skateboard parks. So today we tried a small one that is free that we have never been before.
The kids are getting more comfortable the more we go. My son is no dare devil so he won't attempt any ramps but at least he stopped carrying the board from spot to the next and actually rides it and wants to ride it more....

If you want to go on take a ride with me

Today's combo was inspired by the Victoria's Secret catalog:

The concept was the paisley fluid pants with a matching tone blouse tied at waist. Hers are in peach/coral tones mine are blue.

I bought these pants on clearance from threadsence last year but realized they were too long so had to get them hemmed when I was getting my bridesmaid dress done. Finally getting to wear them....

Here are some photos taken at the skateboard park we took the kids this morning:

Blouse - Victoria's Secret (very old)
Pants - Threadsence
Sandals - J Crew
Necklace - Bauble Bar

TODAY:
Had a fun filled day today. Met a group of friends at a skateboard park.
It was a YMCA run park so lots of kids and very family friendly. The kids took a little bit to warm up but soon they were trying out the mini ramps and having a blast. We moved locations a few times to give them a flavor of the place and fed them packed lunches there...

Then the whole group came over to our house for swimming in the pool...

Who  says skating can't look girly? Don't they just look adorable?

Ocean Beach

This was my outfit yesterday... Simple and sporty but bright...

Jacket, Shorts - Forever 21
Tee - Target
Sneakers - Converses

WEDNESDAY:
Had such a fun day with the kids. Our mommy summer camp agenda was meeting at a skateboard park and letting the kids experiment with their skateboards and scooters.
The park is in my old neighborhood which is a total surfer town. We ate at the famous hamberger house on the main street then let the kids run off their lunch at the beach before heading home!

My cousin and I wore such similar outfits out of total coincidence!

My daughter uses the skateboard like a surfboard!

This little guy on his no pedal two wheel bike with his skateboarding mom who was taking photos while skating were such a cute couple!

A good shot of a pro. Love the shadow!
