I have a little dreidel, I made it out of clay

I was thrilled to find these skinny cords in this amazing aqua mint color. Today's outfit I have to say though was less about the outfit and more about what we did. I thought the color would look cute against the fair isle sweater.

Activity #3 of the day was at a Hyatt resort...where these photos were taken!

Sweater - Victoria's Secret
Tee - Thread Show
Cords, beanie - Forever 21
Boots - Uggs

TODAY:
Today was an insane day. I will let the photos do most of the telling...
First we went to a friend's house for a Hanukkah playdate. Her husband and kids are Jewish so she thought it would be cool to expose the kids. We had them watch a mini Hanukkah  movie, then do menorah craft and then played the Dreidel game! My son who is so interested in these things loved it. Plus they enjoyed playing like crazy in the big house riding bikes and scooters all around the living room and family rooms.

Then direct from there we went to my friend's house for a playdate at her house!
After giving up on attempts to have my daughter nap there we left to see this giant gingerbread village display at a resort near her house. The entire thing was made out of sugar and it was amazing!

My daughter ate a piece when she heard us say it was all made out of sugar then I caught her and she made this face!

And then we went back to my friend's house for dinner and more play followed by our final activity which was to watch the "Living Lights" show of a house that does a full on 10 minute light show with music for a charity event!
The pictures do not do justice...

I changed the kids into their PJs before heading home and came just in time for them to go to bed and shower before my friend came over to watch our recorded shows and hang out and exchange gifts!
It was a crazy hectic day. Tomorrow will not be that quiet either!

  3. Sounds like a busy day!

I agree with Style Journey, it's great that you are allowing your children to learn about other cultures and religions.

That gingerbread house is crazy! I would have been like your daughter and sneaked a piece. ;)
