I wish I were the rain

 Love mixing black with brown...
Layered 3 pearl necklaces... I ordered a new 3 strand one with super huge pearls from asos but it hasn't arrived yet.

We have such similar boots so whenever she wears them I usually save the outfit as inspiration... I love my red rain boots cause they are taller than usual and narrower than usual which fit my skinny calves so much better...

TODAY:
We had a whole set of different plans today of going to the skateboarding park for kids to watch older children do skateboarding tricks then have them ride their scooters and then lunch. But with rain we knew it was risky so we went to the Children's Museum downtown instead. Met with 2 other mommy friends there so 6 kids was quite exhausting in a big place with 3 floors and 6 kids with a mind of their own wanting to go different directions. But, after many warnings and talks we managed to keep them together and flow through each area/activity.
In the afternoon my parents came over and I could sneak to go get my nails done and run a couple errands.

Yes I really do these things in the outfits I post/wear... Pearls and all do not stop enjoying clay art with the kids. The outfit actually was very kid friendly since I wore leggings underneath I didn't feel like I had a mini skirt on. And the flat boots are so comfy. The pearls...you forget you have them on after you put them on.

Going home with their clay art in hand....

  4. Loving the Wellies and the plaid! Also, thanks for adding me to your blog roll :) Tres, flattered!!! Oh and Instagram is an app for the iPhone where you can take photos with your phone and use different vintage filters and then share them on Twitter or Facebook. It's pretty cool!

Looks like you guys had a great day. My sisters and I would have loved a place like that. We were always getting in trouble for drawing on the walls at home...lol

  8. Stylish mom! And Trevor and Juliet are so adorable! I like that you mentioned your changed the platform to flats during the day. It looks better with heels, of course, but the fact that you change the shoes makes it seem real instead of magazine-like, picture-perfect artificial character that we could never copy!
