You are my sunshine

So, this is the actual I ended up with today. Needed the cardigan and covered legs as opposed to the prior outfit.

The inspiration was from Carrie Fabulous Blog which I love to follow:
I liked her all black and grey outfit that also looked casual chic which usually suits my lifestyle perfectly.
To be a tad different though I decided to add my new suede fringed purse in RED!

I gave my little man  permission to come pose with me and he decided to add some dance moves...
Cardigan, Boots - Forever 21
Denim Leggings - Kohl's
Trapeze tank top - Marshall's
Necklaces - Forever 21 & one other site but I can't remember now
Purse - Haven Boutique (from Thread Show)

I know I post more photos of my daughter cause she is usually very willing to pose for me. But this time I was on my bedroom balcony where my daughter is not allowed due to too much space between the railing posts so my son was having fun with me this time...

TODAY:
Met up with my mom and took my son to the Turkish School. The first half we went to starbucks with my girl and had a 'just girls coffee break'. The second half of the school I asked the teacher if they would let my daughter in and she was ecstatic. So I am hoping they might allow her next term. The entry age is 4 and she will turn 3 in February but she is pretty good in class so hopefully. I also wish the school was every week instead of every other. It does have a positive influence on my son encouraging him to embrace his heritage and be proud of speaking two languages.
Mom hung out with us in the afternoon as well and we discussed upcoming business strategies so I am very excited about it.
At night after the kids went to bed I was putting away laundry and all of sudden started 'cleansing' my closet. I tend to do this every few months or so and it is a great practice. Even if you don't eliminate anything it is a great refresher to remember what you have and also re folding the clothes makes the shelves all nice and neat. I was able to eliminate at least one large bag of clothes to donate and half a bin of clothes I decided to save for my daughter. Which was such a strange feeling but it is only a matter of time I am sure where she will be fishing into my closet like I do to my mom's. And that feeling just made me smile and feel all warm and fuzzy inside. So, I kept all my brand name way too tight and crop on me tee's and blouses for her. I am sure by the time she is 12-13 they will be just fine for her.

  3. Love this outfit. My daughter is 8 and is already raiding my closet. She can fit into some of my tees and tanks now, and has made a list of stuff that goes to her when I'm done with it(or I guess when she fits into it).
