Tonight's inspiration was from the 'Late Afternoon' blog:

 This was one of those combo's that didn't come together as cool as I thought it would. The sweater should be more fitted the shorts more fluid and the socks and shoes I felt were not the best but it was good enough as I hate changing....

TODAY:
In the morning my mom and stepdad came to take my daughter to her soccer match while my son and I went with my husband to his tennis match. My dad and aunt came there to watch too. Unfortunately he lost but it was great to watch. And the best part is after the game my parents took the kids and we had the whole day to ourselves. Went out to lunch then took a long nap and went out to dinner and a movie.
It was so relaxing....

 Today's outfit... I went out tonight but didn't have the energy to change outfits so I kept my day outfit on and just added the necklace and earrings and the clutch. Didn't even change to heels! :)

TODAY:
Started the morning a bit late so it was stressful getting out but we got to our playdate. It was a hot day so kids played indoors for a while than splashed the good old fashioned way under the splash of a hose in a blowup pool. From there we came home where my mom came to babysit so I could register my son for his school and sign up for all the school activities at his school. Then my husband took over and I went out with the girls to yet another great event which had a hosted bar for 2 hours plus free apps where they had us taste all their new menu creations. The only money I spent was the tips to the bar tender and to the complimentary valet guy!

Had a great day today. With our outdoor class we went strawberry picking. First time for all of us. It was fun and pretty simple. The strawberries tasted great and were easy to find and pick.

Change of Pace

 Today's combo came out pretty cute in my opinion. You never know with these risky combo's sometimes they look great sometimes not so much.

Of course I haven't bought any of these items but I owned very similar pieces to create the combo...

 I double wrapped the infiniti scarf to create the cape effect...

 Saw this 'evil eye' nail design from ElleSees blog and adopted it right away. My base blue was a little darker but at least I had all the colors at home already. Some evil eyes have yellow in them too. I might try that next...

Hat - was a gift from my mom to my sister and she felt it was too big for her.

TODAY:
Instead of regular class today we had family PJ night in class in the evening. So we had a free day with my daughter went to Nordstrom rack for xmas shopping. After couple hours treated her to burgers and fries at a diner in the mall and ordered here a 'pink' shake! She had to stand to drink from it!

Then in the evening we picked up a pizza pie and went to the indoor class so kids can have dinner then put on their PJs and listen to stories and watch movies with their friends on pillows and blankets.
My brother and nephew joined us as well...
