Girls in Sand

Another so so outfit today. Some days I absolutely love the outfit, some days, I am not crazy about them and some days like today they are just OK. The inspiration for this one came from the photo below:

I swear I had the same shade sage green pashmina scarf which I hadn't worn since I bought it so I that is why I had put this combo in the list. Except this morning I couldn't find the scarf anywhere so wore this scarf instead. I do love this scarf as it has the best colors that really go great with everything.

I tied the scarf loosely around my neck like a 'snood' is that what they are calling those long circular scarfs?

Here is a close-up:

The grey patent boots compliment the grey crop cardigan:

As you can see my mini helper is in every photo pretty much. She was so eager though I couldn't resist allowing...

I originally had plans to meet a friend for an hour this afternoon which is why I had planned to wear these boots and this great purse. But she ended up cancelling so I wore my rugged boots this morning and uggs in the afternoon.

Grey crop cardigan - from Turkey (Mango I think)
White tee - Target
Blue skinny Jeans - Forever 21
Grey patent leather boots - from Turkey
Scarf - Ed Hardy (from TJ Maxx)
Lizard print blue and black purse - Forever 21

Today's Activities: Went to our outdoor preschool class which takes place at a different park every week. My daughter decided to use the park as a trainning circuit and climbed every possible ladder thingy so I had to be by her side all the time. After naps we skyped with my hsubands east coast family to wish his 92 year old grandpa happy birthday. Then visited the indoor play area again where my mom and step dad joined us to play with the kids. Came home to meet my dad who joines us for dinner which I had cooked during nap time.
My little angel:

These little girls somehow all gathered together at the park this morning to play. So cute. My daughter is towards the left...
